WSV – Week 4 Report
Div 1/2:
Last Wednesday allowed Hot Digs and Dig That to maintain their 100% start to the season. At the foot of the respective tables, Taborites Tornado are still heading in the “wrong direction”. Spike and Pillage maintain their strong points difference! Taborites Tempest made hard work of their victory, with Zak Hurrell’s energy lifting his teammates. TeBeCe couldn’t handle the experience on the Spike and Pillage side of the court, despite some strong hitting from Ben Mills. Service Returns just couldn’t handle Luke’s threat and he proved pivotal in Hot Digs retaining top spot.
Div 3:
Wallyballers have put their slow start to the season to bed, and made use of the handicap following the end of the first phase in their division and go ahead of Taborites Typhoon on points difference. They will play league leaders, Dig That, and have a four point head start to cling to. Can Rob Beale and co close the gap on the leaders? Wrong Direction will be hoping that they have enough to take their first win of the season, when they play Typhoon in their next fixture.
