WSV – Getting Tight at the Top

On Wednesday night, we saw the 17th round of matches. The gap at the top has closed slightly, as both Spike and Pillage and Tempest climb closer to Hot Digs. Only four points separate 1st from 3rd now. Credit to Zack and George from Tempest, who let nothing hit the ground, in a shock win against Hot Digs.

TeBeCe claimed a comfortable victory against Tornado. TeBeCe fielded a fully strength squad and had too much for Jo and co.

Spike and Pillage were dominant in their game, forcing Service Returns to remain bottom as we head into the final few games.

In Division 3, Wrong Direction claimed all three points as they beat Taborites Typhoon. Elsewhere, new boy – Kai – has slotted in nicely with the Wallyballers and assisted them in increasing their lead at the top of the league. Despite there still being a few games to go, it will take some poor luck for Wallyballers to let it slip now!
