WSV – Quiz Night Success

On Friday 7th, Weymouth Social Volleyball League hosted a Christmas, social quiz night. Over 65 people attended the event, making up eight teams; players from the league, as well as family and friends enjoyed a wonderful, laugh filled evening.

The scores were close heading into the final round, and five teams were still in contention for first prize (£10 off vouchers at Massage Weymouth for all members of the team). Service Returns had activated the double points joker but couldn’t take advantage as Hot Digs came third, just missing out in the play-off question. Let’s Get Quizickle (LGQ), dominated by players from Taborites Tornado, faced The Stragglers, a mix of Spike & Pillage and Taborites Tempest, in a final question showdown for first prize. It took three tie-breaker questions to settle things, with Sarah, from LGQ’s, knowledge on Henry VIII’s wives finally deciding the top two places.
