WSV – League Start Goes Well

Yesterday saw the first matches of the league and all were well fought by all teams. Sets went either way in the Div 1 matches. Div 2 was also hard fought with honours going to Wave Riptide who saw off their club mate in the newly formed Wave Power.

This seasons most valueud player has started well with all but one match reporting. However, referees are reminded to ensure they choose a Most Valud Player from each team.

Waves teams are “Making Waves” taking all the top spots bar the Div 1 lead, which goes to Wezzaball, but we will see how things progress in the coming weeks. After the first Phase (5 matches) the handicap will come into play and then things will really start to ”Hot Up”…
