WSV – Division 3 Tournament

database Division 3 complete their league fixtures before Division 1/2.  As a result they have time left for a Divisional Tourtnament over two nights.

Timing. Matches are one set lasting 15 minutes starting on a horn blast with a double blast at 2 minutes to go before a long blast to complete the set, during which no substitutions or timeouts are allowed .

Handicap. The handicap, explained in the Policies, is applied to all matches.  Handicaps are above the team in the Results.

Tournament Points(TPs). Teams are awarded; 3 TPs for a win, 2 TP for a draw and 1 TPs if they lose.

1st Round. Each team in Division 3 play each other once in a single 15 minute set match.

1st Round Schedule:

  • 19:00-19:15 – Help Court Assembly / Warm Up
  • 19:20-19:35 – Game 1 – Wallyballers v Wrong Direction / ref Dig That
  • 19:40-19:55 – Game 2 – Typhoon v Dig That / Ref Wallyballers
  • 20:00-20:15 – Game 3 – Wallyballers v Dig That / Ref Wrong Direction
  • 20:20-20:35 – Game 4 – Typhoon v Wrong Direction / Ref Dig That
  • 20:40-20:55 – Game 5 – Wallyballers v Typhoon / Ref Wrong Direction
  • 21:00-21:15 – Game 6 – Dig That v Wrong Direction / Ref Typhoon
  • 21:20-21:30 – Help Disassemble Court

Results. The progress of the divisional tournament will be posted online at it progresses.  The winner is the team with most TPs and Point average after all teams have played both rounds.  See Results here.
