WSV – League Starts

This coming Tuesday will see the start of the WSV League proper… After the success of the tournament, the 12 teams have been divided into 3 divisions. Division 3 sees our weaker and junior teams playing over a ladies height net, where as Divisions 1 and 2 play in a combined way to give variety to the matches.

Of course, when it comes to the end of the year the awards will be divided by division, so the highest Division 2 Team might win the whole league but as they are in division two this year (that being the division an adult team new to the league starts in), they will win the Division 2 trophy before being promoted to Division 1 the following year.
